| Ultra athlete who could play at a high level on either side of the ball as a defensive back or receiver. Tall, long, and good speed for his size. Covers ground quickly and plays the ball very well in the air, though transition from backpedal could use some strength added to it. Tough enough to make a play in the running game, and very aware in both aspects of his game. Should see the field early in college on special teams. |

| As a junior, Hopkins caught 29 passes for 539 yards and eight scores in a part-time capacity at wide receiver. Registered 37 tackles and nine interceptions from his cornerback position after leading the Lions to a second straight Western AAA Championship and a 13-1 record. Hopkins set the state record for interceptions as a sophomore with 14. |
