Biography:

2008 stats: Barry James recorded 80 tackles as a junior. He says he can bench 320-pounds and squats 500-pounds.

James finished his senior season with 125 tackles for a 5-5 team.

James plans to major in criminal justice and reports a 2.7 core GPA and 18 ACT, which he’ll retake in December.

James: “I’m a good downhill runner. I can stop the run. I can plug the holes and I’m a big linebacker.

“I want to get my 40 speed down. And improve my change of direction and mobility.”
