| Crawford is still in the process of learning the position because he spent about half the time at linebacker as a junior. He excels in containment. He does well staying in his lane, sealing his edge, and not letting anyone get outside. Stays in control, plays with energy, gets his arms up in passing lanes, and reads plays very well. Needs to work on playing with leverage, using his hands to get off blocks, and be explosive with his first step. |
| Biography: |
| Corey Crawford finished with 72 tackles and 7 sacks over the course of his junior season. He says he can squat 375-pounds and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (11-1) stats: 12 sacks on defense and one interception which he returned for a touchdown. He also had one receiving touchdown at tight end.
Crawford plans to major in communications and reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 15 ACT, which he is retaking in January.
Crawford: “I have great speed and I use my hands well. I can beat the tackle off the line.
“I want to learn to disengage a block better. I’m working on my overall technique.”
