Chad Jasmin is one of six active players to appear in three bowl games. He has played well in bowl games; he had a career-high 83 rushing yards on 16 carries in the 2001 Humanitarian Bowl, then had two catches for 22 yards and rushed for a score in the 2002 Tangerine Bowl...had an injury-plagued 2002 season, but still made strong contributions when healthy...missed three games due to a pulled thigh muscle that bothered him much of the year...an outstanding receiver...had a four-yard touchdown catch at N.C. State in 2001 and two touchdown catches at North Carolina in 2002, so he now has three receiving scores in his career...all have taken place in the state of North Carolina...first Clemson running back since Terrence Flagler (at Wake Forest in 1986) to catch a pair of touchdown passes in the same game...has 10 career receptions and three have gone for scores...earned his degree in August, so he will be a graduate during the 2003 season...a native of Louisiana who is product of Clemson recruiting ties dating to Coach Bowden’s time at Tulane...has 340 career rushing yards and 101 career yards receiving...outstanding blocker who makes the Clemson offense go in short yardage; his injuries hurt Clemson’s ability to convert in that situation on a consistent basis at midseason...has a solid 4.4 yards per rush average over his career.
