Outstanding blocker; he comes in for short yardage situations...listed as the second-team fullback behind Chad Jasmin entering August practice. In 2002 he was a backup fullback who saw more and more action as the season progressed...played 12 snaps in the Tangerine Bowl, but did not carry the ball...showed his running ability late in the North Carolina game with three carries for 16 yards...those were his only carries of the season, but he played 79 snaps overall.
