| Made at least one field goal in 27 of the 28 games and shot at least 50 percent from the field all but four games.... led the team in dunks with 26, a good sign in that he has become more aggressive going to the basket....26 of his 57 field goals were dunks, 46 percent.... had 10 points and 13 rebounds in just 19 minutes in the season opener against Gardner-Webb, first Tiger in eight years to get a double-double in less than 20 minutes playing time....that was his first career double-double....had two double figure rebound games...sot 60.6 percent from the field, but hit 64.4 percent at home, best by a Tiger in 2003-04...ironic in that he did not score in Littlejohn Coliseum as a freshman, all 14 of his points were on the road or in the Civic Center of Anderson...averaged 13 points and 12 rebounds per game in home games when pro rating his stats to a 40-minute basis...37 of his 81 rebounds were offensive, the best percentage of total rebounds off the offensive boards by a Tiger...made at least half of his shots in each of the first 12 games of the season...shot 13-17 from the field in Clemson's four wins over teams that made the NCAA Tournament (ETSU, Boston College, NC State and North Carolina)...started just four games all year, but those were four of the last six games of the season, he will challenge for starting assignment in 2004-05...scored in every game but one, the game at Wake Forest on Jan. 14 when he played just 14 minutes...played double figures in all but one game and at least 20 in 10 games...played at least 20 minutes in eight of his last nine games. |
